What you agree to when you text MAKE, and how to stop.

The program
Discipology is a free, donor-supported 52-day disciple-making journey by text message. It is run by New Breed Ministries, a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Once you opt in, you get one text each morning for up to 52 days: a short encouragement, one action step, and a link on discipology.com to that day's free 10-minute audio. On the day you invite a friend (Day 28) you get a second text you can forward. Nothing is sold by text, and we never ask for a donation by text.
How to opt in
There are three ways in, and each one is your consent:
- Text MAKE to the Discipology number shown on discipology.com.
- Enter your mobile number in the form on discipology.com and check the consent box. The box starts unchecked.
- If a friend on the journey invites you, text JOHN plus their invite code to the Discipology number shown on discipology.com. The invite comes from your friend, not from us, and we do not text you until you do.
The consent wording under every Text MAKE button, and beside the checkbox in the form, is the wording you agree to when you opt in.
How often we text
Up to 1 message per day for 52 days; on the invite day up to 2; plus replies to your keywords, a confirmation when your friend joins, and a one-time confirmation text if you signed up on the website before texting launched.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Those are your mobile plan's charges for texts, not ours; Discipology itself is free.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and we stop at once. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPT OUT do the same, and so does any reply that plainly asks us to stop. Emailing hello@discipology.com works too. You get one text confirming you are out, and nothing after that.
To come back, reply START, UNSTOP or YES.

Carriers
Discipology works on major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy
How we handle your number and what we store is in our privacy policy. The rest of the rules for using Discipology are in our terms of use. We do not share, sell, rent or provide your mobile phone number or your text-message opt-in consent to third parties, affiliates or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. The only companies that ever handle your number are the ones that store our database and deliver our texts for us (Supabase and Twilio), and they may use it for nothing else.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
